Description Here we report the de novo genome assembly of Zhonghuang 13 (Gmax_ZH13). Comparison analyses between this genome and the newest Williams 82 reference genome, we identified 270,938 (Zhonghuang 13) and 257,572 (Willams 82) structure variations between them including translocation and/or inversion events, long presence and small insertions events. Furthermore, a comprehensive gene co-expression network were established, which help us to mine potential key genes in controlling agronomical important traits. The genome will facilitate soybean genomics research and elite cultivar improvement.
