Description |
The subspecies classification of red pandas based on morphological differences lacks genetic evidence for a long time. To resolve this problem, we used whole genomes, mitochondrial genomes, and Y chromosomes to investigate the genetic evidence of subspecies differentiation in red pandas, which would have important implications for red panda conservation. |
