Description To evaluate impact of hydropower station construction on aquatic microbiota in river, aquatic microbial compositions in river collected from 18 sampling sites in the Jinsha River of China covering upstream and downstream of 2 completed hydropower stations and 2 building hydropower stations had been analyzed using high-throughput sequencing of 16S rRNA gene in the present study.
