Description |
To identify genetic variants regulating brain gene expression and alternative splicing in the East Asian population, we performed high-density genotyping and high throughput RNA sequencing in 151 prefrontal cortex brain tissue. After quality control and preprocessing the genotype and RNA-seq data, we obtained a set of 18,939 brain expressed genes and 6.4 million autosomal single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) from each individual. Then we performed eQTL and sQTL mapping as well as co-regulatory network construction to compile the first genome-wide brain prefrontal cortex regulatory map on the East Asian population. |
