Title Genomic and Transcriptomic Dissection of the Large-Effect Loci Controlling Drought-Responsive Agronomic Traits in Wheat
Relevance Agricultural
Data types Whole genome sequencing
Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Triticum aestivum
Description The hexaploid winter wheat cultivar Lu-Mai 14 (LM14), Han-Xuan 10 (HX10) and their derived varieties have been widely cultivated in North China area. To systemically construct the molecular genomic map of the two widely cultivated wheat cultivars, LM14 and HX10, we used re-sequencing assay to identify Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) and Insertion/Deletion (InDel) variations on the genome-wide basis. Moreover, we carried out a time-course ABA treatment experiment and strand-specific RNA sequencing (ssRNA-seq) analysis to identify ABA-responsive genes and monitor their expression dynamics during ABA process in the two wheat cultivars.
