Description Sequence, assemble and annotate the genome of Amynthas corticis, which is a global distributed and invasive earthworm species. To reveal molecular mechanisms behind global distribution of the earthworm, ploidy analysis, analysis of gene families with significantly accelerated evolutionary rate, detection of proteome and gut microbiome for the earthworm incubated in artificial soil infected with pathogenic Escherichia coli O157:H7, while profiling of well determined defensive genes in the whole genome were conducted.
