Description |
Guenons (genus Cercopithecus) are the most widely distributed and diverse non-human primates in the tropical forest belt of Africa, yet knowledge on their genetics, behavior, and ecology is largely limited. The genome sequence of the African mona monkey will provide essential genomic bais for these primates conservation and utilization. |
