In this project, we provided the first complete genome reference for roughskin sculpin Trachidermus fasciatus. Roughskin sculpin was widely distributed in the coastal area of the east Asian countries. However, currently, this species is under threat due to environmental destruction and overfishing. The completion of its genome will greatly facilitate the protection and genetic study of Trachidermus fasciatus. |
