Title Mouse hypothalamic transcriptome sequencing
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Mus musculus
Description To identify the hypothalamic RNAs that are involved in energy balance and obesity, we performed RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) of hypothalamus which were isolated from male C57 BL/6 mice that had been fed a regular chow or HFD for 12 weeks.Ribo-zero libraries were prepared and sequenced using the HiSeq 2500 system (Illumina, San Diego, CA).
