This study employed shotgun metagenomics to evaluate the effect of 4 different probiotics treatments (Lactobacillus plantarum Lp-6, Lactobacillus plantarum P-8, Lactobacillus plantarum P9 and the mixture of them) on the gut microbiome of the rats. We interrogated whether and how a mixture of probiotics could elicit different effects on regulating the gut microbiome of healthy rats. |
