Description 'Huangdan'(HD) is an important tea cultivar which be famous with high aroma characteristics. We generated two levels of assembly of HD genome, including a representative monoploid assembly and two haplotypes assembly, to investigate the genetic characteristics between alleles of the HD genome with high heterozygosity and the molecular basis of high fragrance characteristics.
