Description |
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D) is a complex disease with multiple organ dysfunction caused by genetic, epigenetic and environmental factors. As the existing clinical and basic studies of T2D are mostly based on a single level of omics analysis, it is urgent to obtain a multi-dimensional molecular characterization spectrum of T2D population for clinical diagnosis and treatment. By drawing the multi-dimensional omics characteristic spectrum of T2D population that can be used for clinical diagnosis and treatment, the project forms a shared database, establishes a new molecular typing scheme and classification system framework based on omics big data, develops accurate medical diagnosis and treatment methods for T2D in Chinese people, and improves the effect of disease prevention and treatment. |
