Here, we generate a high-quality genome assembly and annotation of the fucoxanthin-producing algae I. galbana by using third-generation sequencing (TGS) of the PacBio SEQUEL platform. High-quality I. galbana LG007 genome provides a new opportunity to revisit algae phylogeny, aquatic algae evolution and the adaptation of algae to live in the water. |
