Description |
The unique spatial niches created by biochar form a special biogeochemical soil zone, termed as charosphere. The direction and magnitude of the charosphere effects on soil processes and microbial community still remain contentious. Therefore, a multi-sectional box was designed to investigate the bacterial structure, metabolic functions and distributions of specific genera related to nitrogen (N) transformation along an ecotone distance gradient in charosphere. |
