Title Transcriptome Analysis of the Spleen Revealed the Mechanism of Differential Resistance to Salmonella in H/L Selection Chickens
Relevance Agricultural
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Raw sequence reads
Organisms Gallus
Description In this study, Genomic DNA was isolated from peripheral blood subjected to SNP typing, and detect the genomic differences between the selection line and the non-selection line in the 10th generation of the H/L selection line. Simultaneously, the chicks were challenged with Salmonella Typhimurium day 7 post hatch. Our goal is to find out the candidate genes that confer the ST-resistance ability by H/L selection.
