Description In this study, we sequenced, assembled and annotated the genomes of Salix chaenomeloides and Salix arbutifolia. At the same time, multiple female and male individuals were sequenced to identify the sex determination region. Finally, based on the assemblies of sex determining regions to reveal the history of sex chromosome turnover.
