Title Berberine relieves metabolic syndrome in mice by inhibiting gut microbiota disturbance and liver inflammation caused by high-fat food
Relevance Medical
Data types Targeted loci environmental
Organisms mouse gut metagenome
Description This study used SPF-grade C57BL/6J male mice to construct an obese mouse model, and conduct a systematic study on liver tissue pathology, inflammatory factor expression and gut microbiota structure. With the help of bioinformatics technology, we screened the targets of berberine on gut microbiota, and elucidated the molecular mechanism of berberine treating metabolic syndrome through regulating gut microbiota and inflammatory factors.
