| 描述信息 | We reconstructed phylogenetic trees of 8 Ostrya species and 38 Carpinus species using 214 individual re-sequencing genomes. Our results revealed four main clades in these two genera, largely consistent with morphological categories. However, an extremely conflicting plastome phylogeny and contradictions among individual gene trees have been yielded. Phylogenetic evidence has recovered for reticulate evolution throughout their histories due to frequent gene flow, hybridization and polyploidy. | ||||||||||||
