项目标题 Rejuvenation of aging single-cell transcriptomic atlas by heterochronic parabiosis
涉及领域 Model organism
数据类型 Transcriptome or Gene expression
物种名称 Mus musculus
描述信息 This study constructed a single-cell transcriptomic map of multiple aged organs and their modulation by heterochronic parabiosis (HP), observing a continuum of cell state and composition changes across the hematopoietic and immune tissues, and traced it back to hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). And exposure to the young blood partially reversed the age-associated decline in lymphopoiesis. In addition, even in the skin, a peripheral organ, resident epithelial stem cells were revitalized through systemic effect of HP, albeit a distinctive manner in comparison with HSPCs.
