Description |
Mitochondrial DNA haplogroup D4h accounted for ~0.5% of the matrilineal gene pool of East Asians. Previous studies showed that this haplogroup distributed mainly in the eastern part of China, with one subhaplogroup, namely D4h3a, typical in Native Americans. Here we sequenced 106 mitochondrial genomes belonging to haplogroup D4h, which will provide new insights into the phylogenetic structure of this haplogroup, as well as its origination and dispersal history. |
