Title scRNA-seq of adult rat testicular interstitial cells
Relevance Model organism
Data types Single cell sequencing
Organisms Rattus norvegicus
Description Stem Leydig cells (SLCs) play a critical role in the development and maintenance of adult Leydig cell (ALC) population. To further characterize SLCs in adult testis, we have analyzed 3 rat testicular interstitial cell samples by single-cell RNA-seq technique. The 3 samples came from normal control, 1 week and 3 weeks post ethanedimethanesulfonate (EDS) treated rats whose ALCs were eliminated by 1 week and partially regenerated by 3 weeks. The dataset is useful for identification and characterization of interstitial compartment cells of adult rat testis.
Sample scope Single cell
