Description | Intra-tumoral functional heterogeneity is highly associated with poor prognosis and therapeutic failure, but remains largely unexplored due to model limitations. Here we established a 2D&3D model of cancer cells and air-liquid interface organoids derived from colorectal cancer patients, and generated multiple single-cell-derived clones from individual tumors. This innovative 2D&3D model faithfully recapitulate the histological, genomic, and transcriptomic characteristics and heterogeneity of their parental tumors. | ||||||||||||||||||||
