Description To disentangle ecological mechanisms underlying bio-organic fertilizer actions in fruit species, we measured pear production and tracked changes in microbiome compositions using metagenomic analysis. Specifically, we assessed the following three treatments with five replicates : chemical fertilizer (CF as control), organic fertilizer (OF) and bio-organic fertilizer (BF) containing a model plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium Bacillus velezensis SQR9.
