Title Single-cell RNA profiling and spatial transcriptomics of primary biliary cholangitis
Relevance Medical
Data types Single cell sequencing
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description Primary biliary cholangitis is an autoimmune liver disease characterized by selective destructions of small- and medium-sized intrahepatic bile ducts. However, the reasons why PBC selectively targets these bile ducts and its underlying mechanisms are still largely unclear. In this study, liver samples from control and PBC patients were used for single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to explore the pathogenesis of this disease.
Sample scope Single cell
