Description

Yellow-breasted Bunting (Emberiza aureola) is a critically endangered species that has been experiencing recent rapid population decline. However, it is unclear its genomic status. Here, we de novo assemble its genome and annoatated the genome. We also re-sequenced 10 Yellow-breasted Buntings to analyse it genetic diveristy, gentic load and demographic history.
