Organisms Columba livia
Description In this study, we de novo constructed a chromosome-level pigeon (Columba livia) genome. Such as this high-quality genomic information, we report the fine regulation of gene expression by multi-scale 3D genome reorganization, including compartmental rearrangement, TAD reconstructure and promoter-enhancer interaction rewiring, and illustrate the dynamic chromatin architectures and gene transcriptions are closely related to functional transition in pigeon crop during breeding stages.
