Title Assembly of mouse novel embryonic stem cells to blastocyst-like structures
Relevance Embryonic development
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Mus musculus
Description Recently, we found more papers came to show the generation of blastocyst-like structures, however the culture system was complicated, and hard to understand its development and mechanism. In here, we discovered one culture system to culture only one blastocyst, and drive two different characteristic cell lines, one is embryonic stem cells (ESCs), another is extra-embryonic endoderm stem cell lines (XEN). Furthermore, we try to make lots of blastocyst-like structures from one blastocyst. In this project, we also use RNA-seq, WGBS, and Cool-seq technologies, to elucidate features of ESCs and XEN two cell lines, as well as blastocyst-like structures. This study provide new model for investigation of early embryonic developmental system, drug-screening and cell therapy.
