Title Exploration of transcript response of multiple tissues to acute heat stress in laying hens
Relevance Agricultural
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Gallus gallus
Description Heat stress, especially acute heat stress, has caused huge economic losses to the chicken breeding industry. At present, a large number of studies have shown that acute heat stress can cause tissue damage to multiple tissues such as liver, heart, and muscle. However, there is a lack of systematic comparison of multiple tissues under acute heat stress. In this study, the transcriptome data of five visceral tissues were comparatively analyzed to reveal the transcriptional response of each tissue to acute heat stress and to reveal the main target organs of acute heat stress injury.
