Description |
We developed a target 16S rDNA amplification-based TGS test to identify pathogens. Twenty-one common bacteria from pulmonary infections and 94 BALF samples from severe or prolonged pneumonia patients from the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine were collected between December 15, 2021, and January 15, 2022. The atTGS test was performed on-site, and the results of low abundance pathogenic bacteria were verified with qPCR. The results were compared with those of routine microbiology tests. |
