Full-length reference transcriptomes of hairy vetch (Vicia villosa Roth) and smooth vetch (Vicia villosa Roth var. glabrescens) were obtained using the combination of PacBio single molecule real-time and Illumina-based RNA sequencing technologies. To explore the relationship between trichome development and volatile metabolism, transcriptomes and metabolomes of two vetches were further analyzed. |
