Here we present an expanded collection of the Culturable Genome Reference (CGR2), recapitulated 3,324 cultured genomes with high-quality draft, generated from the large-scale cultivation of over 20,000 bacteria isolates from fecal samples of healthy Chinese individuals. The resulting CGR2 classifies 527 species (222 novel species) from 8 phylum.
