Description | Maize is the most widely grown crop in the world, and also serves as a foundational model for the study of genetics and genomics. We sequenced and assembled the genome of Mo17 using a combination of technologies, which resulted in the complete telomere-to-telomere assembly (T2T assembly) of all ten chromosomes of maize Mo17 genome, with a total genome size of 2,178.68 Mb. | ||||||||
