Description |
Recent progress on direct neuronal reprogramming in vitro reveals that induced neurons (iNs) could be generated for cell-based therapies as well as for disease modeling. We studied whether NA neurons, a neuronal subtype of clinical significance, can be generated with direct neuronal reprogramming and found that seven transcription factors (TFs) (F7) were able to convert astrocytes and fibroblasts into induced noradrenergic (iNA) neurons. To compare the transcriptome of iNA neurons induced by F7 combination from astrocytes and mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs), the transcript profiling of the four samples including astrocytes infected by FUGW control virus (AF) or F7 lentivirus mixture (AF7), MEFs infected by FUGW control virus (MF) or F7 lentivirus mixture (MF7) was performed on the 10x Genomics Chromium System. |
