Description | The incidence of adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG), which is a different cancer type from gastric and esophageal cancers, has been rapidly increasing in recent decades. However, the molecular alterations and subtypes of AEG are still obscure. Here, we aimed to portray the molecular landscape and identify the molecular subtypes of AEG. We conducted proteomics and phosphoproteomics profiling of 103 AEG tumors with paired normal adjacent tissues (NATs), whole exome sequencing (WES) of 94 tumor-NAT pairs, and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) in 83 tumor-NAT pairs. Our proteogenomics dataset provides a valuable resource for better understanding the molecular mechanisms of AEG and the development of precision treatment strategies for AEG patients. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
