| Description |
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a chronic and incurable autoimmune disease with high mortality rates, and fibrosis is the distinguishing hallmark in the pathogenesis. Identification of the precise, time-dependent composition of stromal and immune cells may provide clues for the establishment of new biomarkers and therapeutic approaches targeting SSc fibrosis. Here, the temporal dynamics of pathological process in a mouse model of skin fibrosis is investigated using single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq). |
