We identified mRNA harboring 5-methylcytosine (m5C) and N6-methyladenosine (m6A) sites in pumpkin and cucumber by analyzing RNA methylation sites at the genome level via Methylated RNA Immunoprecipitation sequencing (MeRIP-seq) of different tissues, including mixed tissues and vascular exudates of flowering plants.
