Description |
This project aimed to identify the differentially expressed, developmentally dynamic driver and hub genes associated with the resistance to Salmonella and correlated with factors such as the body weight post-infection, H/L ratio, bacterial load, propionate and valerate cecal contents, and Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, and Proteobacteria cecal relative abundance by combining data from the transcriptome and weighted gene co-expression network analysis of the cecum from chickens infected with Salmonella Enteritidis 7 and 21 days after infection. |
