Title The impact of microplastics on the hematopoietic system
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
metabolome
Organisms Mus musculus
Bacteria
human gut metagenome
Description As microplastics mainly presented in the gastrointestinal system, we first performed the 16S rRNA and metabolomic analysis of feces from mice treated with or without microplastics. Next, we conducted the RNA-seq analysis of LT-HSCs to investigate the underlying mechanisms. Finally, the16S rRNA data of feces from the donors of patients who underwent hematopoietic cell transplantation were used for validation.
