Mycolicibacterium smegmatis MC2 155
Description This project selects Mycobacterium tuberculosis as the main research object, focuses on the core scientific issue of the precise molecular mechanism of pathogen infection, replication and disease-causing process, and conducts original research by comprehensive application of biophysics, microbiology, medicinal chemistry and other methods. We aim at researching on the molecular mechanisms of infection, replication, pathogenicity and drug resistance of highly pathogenic pathogens, publishing a number of influential research papers, laying a foundation for the research and development of infectious disease detection and prevention methods, enabling China to lead the forefront of international development in some fields of major infectious diseases research, while providing scientific and technical support for national health care.
