We reported that enh9 stimulates both cell proliferation and migration intrinsically in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. As independent downstream targets of enh9, endoplasmic reticulum metallopeptidase 1 (ERMP1) and programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) are involved in cell proliferation and migration, respectively. CUT&Tag sequencing confirmed the transcription factor RELA mediated the interaction between enh9 and the promoters of ERMP1 and PD-L1. The manipulation of enh9 is a potential therapeutic strategy by blocking multiple oncogenic processes in cancer cells. |
