In our study, a total of 269 breast cancer patients received NAC from 2 hospitals were prospectively enrolled. Among them, the tissue samples were sequenced using a panel covering 457 cancer-related genes, and 216 blood samples at the indicated time points were collected for ctDNA detection from 56 patients. We established a predictive model for predicting pCR after NAC. At the same time, ctDNA dynamic monitoring found that ctDNA status can predict NAC response and metastasis recurrence. Combining the prediction model and ctDNA status can better predict the NAC results and predict the prognosis for distinguish high- and low-risk patients, which may be helpful to guide subsequent treatment strategies in breast cancer after surgery. |
