描述信息 In this study, we adopted an assembly strategy that integrated Pacbio HiFi reads, Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) ultra-long reads, and Hi-C reads to generate a telomere-to-telomere genome of a banana cultivar 'Baxijiao' (AAA, Cavendish) consisting of three haploid assemblies. We hope this high-quality genome would help to obtain a better understanding of the domestication process of bananas, and open a new range of opportunities for biological studies and the breeding of banana varieties.
