Description |
China's Han population is the largest in the world with billions of descendants worldwide, but is obviously underrepresented in most human genome projects currently, such as in the 1000 Genome Project and the Human Pangenome Reference. An accurate and complete reference genome for this vast population is crucial to support in-depth research and medical applications. A diploid T2T reference genome with Y chromosome for Northern China Han population was constructed. |
