Description Maternal obesity has adverse effects on offspring health, but the underlying mechanisms are not well elucidated. In this project, we find the disturbed DNA methylation in oocytes induced by obesity can inherited by F2, and increased DNMTs are involved in the hyper-methylation of oocytes.
