Here we perform chromosome-scale genome assemblies of two commercially important mahogany species: Swietenia macrophylla and Khaya senegalensis by combining 10X sequencing and Hi-C data.It aims to construct high-quality mahogany chromosome-level genomic resources, analyze the structural characteristics and gene functions of their genomes, and provide genomic data support for the resource development and utilization of the two mahogany species and scientific research. |
