This project enlisted BALF samples collected for a retrospective observation study to elucidate the pathogen identifcation performance of tNGS and mNGS in clinical practice. A total of 180 samples were collected from patients with suspected pneumonia who were admitted to the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (FAH-SYU). All enrolled samples were collected between July 2021 and October 2022 and undergone tNGS and mNGS testings to assess pathogen reports. |
