Description In this project, mature compost was adopted as an inoculant to dispose of AFR harmlessly by composting with SMS as auxiliary material. The effects of mature compost inoculation on the changes of physical and chemical parameters, avermectin degradation, ARGs elimination, microbial community and final compost product quality during AFR composting were studied. The aim was to find an efficient AFR composting method, by which the addition of auxiliary materials was as small as possible, the composting efficiency, avermectin degradation and ARGs elimination were improved, and high quality refined compost products were obtained. The research results were helpful to the harmless treatment and resource utilization of hazardous organic wastes such as AFR, and were of great significance to reducing environmental pollution.
