Title Investigation of the molecular mechanisms of interspecific graft healing in poplar and willow
Relevance Model organism
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Populus cathayana
Description In our previous research, reciprocal grafts of Populus cathayana (P) and Salix rehderiana (S) were generated; the results showed that the survival and growth status of different grafting combinations were different. In this study, we analyzed the molecular mechanisms affecting the successful healing and growth of different grafting combinations by RNA sequencing of grafted healing sites.
