Title 16S Microbiota and Metabolomic Sequencing of Silkworm Gut Under Chromium Stress
Relevance Environmental
Data types Raw sequence reads
Organisms gut metagenome
Bombyx mori
Description In this study, we employed 16S microbiota sequencing and metabolomic profiling to investigate the effects of chromium stress on the gut of silkworms. Chromium is known to exert toxic effects on organisms, and its impact on the gut microbial community and metabolome remains poorly understood. Through high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene, we analyzed the composition and diversity of the gut microbiota in silkworms subjected to chromium stress. Additionally, we performed metabolomic profiling to identify alterations in the metabolite profiles associated with chromium exposure.
