Two upland cotton lines with large genetic differences were used as hybrid parents to construct a F2 population. In order to construct a high-density SNP genetic map, genomic DNA were extracted from the two parents and 100 plants randomly selected from the F2 population for high-throughput sequencing. Using the map and phenotypic data, some QTLs for early maturity traits were identified. |
